I’m a mom, wife, and mother of two great kids. I’m a wife and mother of 4, and I’m an avid traveler in every way imaginable. My husband is a real traveler so I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I want to know what this means for your children.
That is a question my daughter has asked me a few times, and the answer is always the same. As we begin another year of travel, its not just about the places we go, but the people we meet and the experiences we have along the way.
I wanted to be very clear about the intent of this post. This is not a rant against your travel destinations. I love them all and I’m grateful for all the great experiences I have had. I just feel that we can’t always enjoy them when we’re traveling.

While you may be a little bit more adventurous than most people realize, all travel, especially the more adventurous ones, can be very stressful.
This is something I am glad I stumbled upon. We are all travelers and most of us are going to have interesting adventures along the way. However, there are some things that you can avoid or do better without. One of these things is to not travel alone. It is a common thing for people to travel and just for the sake of going somewhere alone, they are going to have a terrible time.
