Rich people are often portrayed as being in constant competition with other rich people, but I think this is a bit of an oversimplification. Sure, some rich people are more successful than others. But in general, I don’t think there’s a huge amount of competition between rich white men. I think the rich are more or less split into two groups: Those who are doing well now and those who are doing well in the early 1990s.
