This was the first library I ever visited and was the first one I visited with my mother. It’s a beautiful building that was built to house the public library system in the late 1800s. It was designed by architect Francis L. Hagerty and built in 1903.
I went to the library in the evening when it was closed on a Friday because it was dark, and it was very creepy. The building was quite old and covered in moss and cobwebs. There were many dead leaves scattered about. It was beautiful.
The library, like many other buildings in the city, was built after the Library of Congress was built. In the early 1900s, the library was in a state of disrepair. It was also badly lit and made some very loud mechanical noise. After a week, I finally got to see it in the daylight and it was much better. I’m going to do a whole mini-series on the book the new trailer focuses on. It was pretty much the closest thing to a public library back in the days of the empire. It was one of the places you could go for books and other supplies, and it was well-known by the people who used the library. It was also a pretty good spot to do battle against criminals.
The new library is actually the only one of this bunch that doesn’t take the “it’s haunted” option.
