Hedric is a classic pizza toppings dish. It is used widely in New York, Los Angeles, and London, and it’s one of those things that you’ll probably find at your local pizzeria, and I’m sure you’ll find it here in California too.

Hedric is also the name of the third most popular restaurant in the world. Hedric’s is a chain of Italian restaurants based out of San Diego, and one of the first ones to sell pizza as a side dish. The place is also infamous for its “buns”, which are mini pies of fried dough stuffed with cheese and pepperoni.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but is Hedric going to be a hit with the younger generations? I think it’s safe to say that younger people will get the idea of eating pizza as a side dish. Because that’s just how pizza used to be rolled back in the days of the American Midwest.
