I’m a firm believer that it is impossible to completely eliminate fear. In fact, I think that the two most common fears that we all carry with us are: our fear of failure, and our fear of losing control. I find that the first one can be a very real and powerful fear, whereas the second one is something we do anyway, even if it doesn’t always have an impact.
Well, at least this time it was a very real fear. In the first Deathloop game we’re playing, our character, Colt, is trying to kill his friends in order to succeed on his mission. And the fear of success that he carries with him is more than a little overwhelming. While he’s on the run from Visionaries, Colt is also on the hunt for a job that he believes is the key to the survival of the party.
